Earth Day - How Can We Help?

Happy Earth Day!

Everyday is an opportunity to grow. Earth Day is a reminder that we’ve got a long way to go. Our planet needs protecting, our land needed cared for and our responsibility to help is clear.

That’s why this Earth Day we’re reminding you to support two of our clients in those efforts.

Wolf River Conservancy is dedicated to the protection and enhancement of the Wolf River and its watershed as a sustainable natural resource. They actively work to conserve land by acquisition, or by its stewardship of such land or easements. The Conservancy goes above and beyond the traditional roles of a land trust by also educating youth and the public, engage the community through the Wolf River Greenway, and provide guided paddle trips.

If you recall, our Emmy Award winning piece, Arts On The Greenway features some of the space they protect.

Another client we LOVE for their efforts to inspire us to help protect our plant is Volunteer Odyssey. They promote volunteer opporutnites for organizations like Wolf River Conservancy. And we love how they’ve inspired us to give back to our community.

And while you’re here, check out all that’s happening at the Memphis Botanic Garden. They focus on horticulture and environmental enrichment. Serving over 40,000 school-aged children annually, and hosting over 225,000 visitors each year. For them it’s all about connecting people with nature, increasing awareness and appreciation of our environment.
