Nicki Storey
VIDEO PRODUCER
Nicki is an Emmy-nominated videographer with more than five years of experience telling stories that impact the community. A Hernando, Mississippi native and graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, she previously worked as a photojournalist at ABC24 News in Memphis.
One of her more memorable stories was "The Mule Train: Poor People's Campaign Continued," which captured the poor living conditions of Quitman County, Mississippi, an area that was considered a food desert with few medical resources. After the documentary aired, a grocery store and hospital opened in the county. The documentary was nominated for a Midsouth Regional Emmy.
While her job involved covering a wide range of topics, she was drawn to stories about every-day people doing extraordinary things in the community.
Nicki strives to use her love for storytelling to lift up voices that typically go unheard.
