Katey Perkins

Katey Perkins joined Forever Ready Productions in 2022 as Video Producer.  She came to us with a wide range of on-location and on-set experience, but it was her passion and heart for our work that led her to Forever Ready. 

She has produced a little bit of everything, from scripted narrative commercials for national campaigns to docustyle pieces for local nonprofits and everything in between. She loves working with clients directly to make their vision come to life.  You can also find her behind a camera too! She has an eye for finding and capturing simple and important moments. 

After spending the first five years of her post-college career in the IT field, Katey moved from Nashville to Memphis to pursue a Master’s in Film and Video Production at The University of Memphis. Upon graduation, she began freelancing as a Production Assistant on a variety of reality TV series, docuseries, and feature films.  Her variety of work continued to grow as an Associate Producer and Producer at VIA Productions.

She’s passionate about telling authentic stories, and she loves bringing attention to people and organizations that might otherwise go unnoticed.
